Approval to Atex Zone 2 provides capability for hazardous area working.

The system features channels for 6 entrants, and one operator. The control panel may be operated with either a heavy‑duty muff/boom microphone headset or a separate speaker box with push‑to‑talk microphone.

A variety of entrant headsets are available for use with Vision masks or the Luno Hornet and Firefly helmets.
There are 2 cabling options:

1. A heavy‑duty polyurethane communication cable

2. Aircom™ Hose – integrates the communication cable in a breathing air hose which supplies both communications and breathing air to the user in one connecting line.

The unique Aircom™ Hose is very resilient to abrasion, chemicals and any other potential damage in use, with the cable being protected by the hose.

The termination manifold is supplied with the Quickmount™ belt bracket for attaching to a waistbelt to provide strain relief for the hose assembly – the bracket allows easy attachment and swivelling for free movement.
